Version 2.6 App and customer service are superb. Best wine program on the market for any platform. Version 2.4 A really great program gets even greater. Complete features, easy-to-use, always stable and reliable. Customer support is unbelievably great and responsive. Version 2.3 Great and even better than before. This program is the equivalent of pc wine inventory programs that cost hundreds of dollars several years ago. By the way, we have about 500 wines in our database and do NOT have any crashes. Version 2.1 This is a great application that gets better with every release. It is stable, intuitive, and well thought out. I used to get our wines on the Robert Parker program, but iWine does everything it did -- and its portable. We now rely exclusively on iWine. I see some people complain about crashes. All i can say is that we have close to 400 wines in our iWine database and have never lost any data. This is an exceptional program. By the way, we routinely transfer the complete file, including pictures of the labels, from iPhone to iPad using Dropbox. It is effortless and 100% reliable. Version 2.0 This program was great because of its wide variety of features, ease of use, and most of all, stability. Now, amazingly, its even greater. For example, we have several hundred wine tastings in our database, and now we can use the new Dropbox backup to protect it. We often retaste wines as they age, and now we can use a new feature to easily "clone" wines so that we only need to enter the new tasting notes. Another great feature is that you can continually re-sort your wines according to type, price, food that accompanied it, other variations, and -- most important to us -- the restaurant where we had it. This is a wonderful feature that really allows us to remember great evenings at particular locations. Its especially great for romantics! This is not only an amazing program. Whats more amazing is the responsiveness of its developers. If you have a problem or request, they consider it right away. And they also continue to add features that we never even suspected we wanted! When I got my iPhone, I tried every wine program available. We had also tried eight of the leading PC wine organization programs (including Parkers). We picked iWine one as the best by far then -- and it has only gotten better. If you love wine and want to remember what you had and where, this is by far the best choice. ------ [Earlier Reviews] I have downloaded and tried all the major wine programs for the iPhone. This is the only one that handles all my needs. Most of these programs offer some distinct features. iWine in my opinion offers by far the BEST blend of ease of use, functions, sort options, stability, and data security. This program makes it easy for you to fill in the basic data, and unlike others, the program does not need to connect to the Internet before you can start to use it. It also offers easily changed sort options. Several programs appear to offer more features. In my opinion, iWine is by far the best. This program keeps getting better and better. It has added all sorts of fabulous conveniences. In fact, at this point, I cant think of a single feature that a wine lover would want, that isnt already here. The program is fun and easy to use for the casual wine drinker, but would satisfy the needs of a serious wine taster or collector. The regular updates always add great new features that make a real difference in using and enjoying this great program. You will not be disappointed.

Takes a little bit of learning curve as far as being intuitive. 4 out of 5 stars for that reason. Another update or 2 and were at 5 stars. Still works great right now!

Ive been using iWine for a number of years and its a great way for me to keep track of wines Ive tried while out so I can find them again at my favorite wine shop.

Im not much of a wine snob but I needed a way to keep track of what wines I liked and didnt like. I was tired of standing in the liquor store trying to remember if I liked something or not or trying to remember that one I had at that party last year that was really good. I dont keep much wine in hand and I dont really use this app to the full potential, but it is good at what it does and works well. Im happy with it. :)

Love it!!! Shared benefits of this app over dinner with another couple. They bought it on the spot. I love recording bottles of wine for later reference and if in a hurry I take a picture of the wine label that stores in my app.

Helps keep track of all my wine- the good and the bad. A wonderful app. Now make it universal so I can use it properly on iPad. Please!!!!! Hope this app hasnt died.

I had high hopes for a very basic, simple journal that would allow me to upload a photo of my label and ability to add tasting notes and info. Totally buggy software. I spent 10 minutes trying to get one wine added and still could not get all basic info added. Very disappointing.

Terrible. Inconsistent menus, not intuitive, and after second try couldnt find my first and only entry!
